Today, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment officially announced Injustice 2, a follow-up to Injustice: Gods Among Us. It’s scheduled to come out in 2017 for both PS4 and Xbox One.
The Gear System uses RPG-like mechanics to reward the players with loot drops every time they play the game. With each loot drop, the player will earn character-specific gear to outfit and power up his roster – changing not only the look of each character, but his fight strategy and his personal approach to every match.
As they gear up their characters, They’re building a roster of DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains that reflects their choices, and their preferences, which can be vastly different than their opponents.
The first Injustice: Gods Among Us game was released in April 2013, for Xbox 360,PlayStation 3, and PC. An Ultimate Edition featuring improved visuals and all post-release downloadable content was later launched for PS4.
The sequel will also continues the story of the first game.
